Funeral Arrangements: What to Expect

Planning a funeral can feel overwhelming, but you won’t have to do it alone. Whether you're seeking something traditional or more personal, we’re here to gently guide you through the process with care, clarity, and compassion.

Where do arrangements take place?
We understand that comfort matters. That’s why funeral arrangements can be made in a place that feels most familiar to you- your home, our office, or another setting that feels right. We’re happy to meet you where you are, both emotionally and physically.

What Will We Talk About?
During the arrangement meeting, we’ll take time to understand your wishes and the unique life of the person you're remembering. Some of the topics we may gently explore include:

• Your loved one’s personal details (full name, date of birth, occupation, etc.)

• Type of funeral you prefer- burial, cremation, or something alternative

• Ceremony preferences - religious, civil, spiritual, or non-traditional

• Location of the service - chapel, place of worship, graveside, or elsewhere

• Choice of coffin or casket

• Vehicles - traditional hearse, horse-drawn carriage, or something personal

• Flowers, music, readings, or other tributes

• Who will be involved - celebrants, clergy, pallbearers, family speakers

• Obituary notices or announcements

• Aftercare and ashes - your options following the funeral
