We are J & S Mortuary Services, more commonly known as James and Shan. We are a husband and wife team of qualified embalmers with a combined 55 years of experience.

Our Story

James & Shan Rubio

Shan and James are responsible for the presentation of those in Butterfly funeral services' care.
They both believe it is such an honour and privilege to take care of someone's loved one on their final journey and treat everyone as if they were their own family member.
Both are fully qualified members of the British institute of embalmers and have attending many courses and seminars to expand their knowledge, believing you should never stop learning.

In their spare time they enjoy weekend breaks, the cinema and taking walks with their 2 sons and dog.
